I went to Rock the Bells 09 with a bunch of friends from work and one of my partners in crime, GD aka Future and I remember this dude K'naan coming on. I had heard of his music before, but I never really listened. When he performed I was like "WOE!!!" everything was dope, his lyrics were so deep, and the brought you in, and it was like he was painting a picture with the words, allowing us to be apart of his performance and feel the pain that he had from growing up in Somalia. So I finally downloaded his album titled "Troubadour" and my favorite songs are "Waving Flag", "Somalia", and "If Rap Gets Jealous." But the whole joint is ILL, download it and let me know what you think...if you don't already have it.
