This thanksgiving was at my uncle's crib, each year we go back and forth between houses and share memories from the past as well as catching up on our current lives. We also celebrated the second half of my dad's birthday with them and did a different activity that wasn't a usual part of Johnson tradition...we got flashcards and wrote down one thing about each other that we were thankful for, and it was quite successful...after that we had some chatting about random stuff and then I rolled out.

Now I'm curled up with my amazing girlfriend watching the news, trying not to slip into the 'itis :)

Good Music - K'naan

I went to Rock the Bells 09 with a bunch of friends from work and one of my partners in crime, GD aka Future and I remember this dude K'naan coming on. I had heard of his music before, but I never really listened. When he performed I was like "WOE!!!" everything was dope, his lyrics were so deep, and the brought you in, and it was like he was painting a picture with the words, allowing us to be apart of his performance and feel the pain that he had from growing up in Somalia. So I finally downloaded his album titled "Troubadour" and my favorite songs are "Waving Flag", "Somalia", and "If Rap Gets Jealous." Reebok Pump 20 Update

So I'm kinda mad at Reebok for this, like the shoes are pretty dope, but you cant find them ANY WHERE! And they arent fly enough to not have a general release. Like I'm not in the mood to fly up to Boston to get in a raffle for a CHANCE to get a pair of kicks that aren't even all that and a bag of potato chips. C'mon Reebok...give the people some cool pumps that we can all rock, okay? thx. Now I'm just gonna go get the the re-release of the Dee Brown's in black for $100 because, 1. he played for the Celtics 2. I think they are much fresher & 3. I'm not down for this raffle stuff/paying $450 for a pair of semi-cool kicks. Not happenin'!!! Reebok fail.

BUT, here are all the Pumps Collabs/Designs, so if you live near these stores, and you want a pair, I suggest you get down there ASAP!

Mobile Blogging from the ER

Today was a lovely day at the hospital. Sike! They gave me a shot that actually put me on the floor AND now my arm is hella sore. But oh well, now im at work and its not busy at all so im hoping that they will let me go...
My girlfriend and I are planning to go see the movie "2012" tonight, so I will give yall the Jayce2daReview soon. Well my arms sore, my stomach's upset, I wanna go see my girl, and it would be dopelife if my work would let me get off.

So I got off work and went to see the movie, and it was "fly" but not my type of thing, I'm not gonna give away the ending, but imagine a flush Noah's Arc lol good stuff tho. We also bumped into Alvin and the Chipmunks at the movie theatre (below) and Flo (my gf) got kicked off of a merry-go-round by a police officer...so in the great words of N.W.A, "F*** THE POLICE!" Fifa2010

My lovely girlfriend bought me Fifa 2010 for my Xbox360 a few days ago and I haven't stopped playing, well until now to blog about it. But really, the game is DOPE, I can't begin to explain how realistic it is, everything from the graphics, to the way players fall, to the timing of the runs, to the facial expressions is on p-o-i-n-t.

I honestly think I played for about 7 hours straight yesterday in my "Be-A-Pro" Mode. I create a player and put him on whatever club I want (Manchester City of course), and I only control him throughout the game. At the start of each game I am given objectives, such as; Score 1 Goal, Win by 2 Goals, and Have a Performance Rating above 7.0. Which isnt always easy, but after a while of playing, isn't really hard either. After the game, they tell you if you met your objectives and then you are given EXP points to add to your players stats to make him a better all around player. As the season goes on, you can be invited to play for your National Team, become your Club's Captain, etc. As of today, my team is at the top of the table, my player is the second leading scorer in the league, and I'm a starter for the English National Team (because I forgot to change my country when I created him .lol.).

But anyways, Fifa2010 is DOPE, so go buy it, and tell me how YOU are doing in it. & FYI, my jersey does say "Jay2da" like its 'posed-ta.

Every year, I always go out and buy the newest 2k basketball series for my Xbox360 and this year I might try Live2010, but we'll see. But the new 2k10 recreated Jordan's last shot on the game for a commercial and I have a funny feeling that he might be featured in the game since he was inducted in this year. Also, Jordan is re-releasing the Jordan XI "Space Jam" and Jordan XII "Flu Game"...which I'm very happy about...even though I'm not buying a lot of shoes because of the fact that I am a college kid thats like always broke lol.

24 Kilates X Reebok Pumps! I saw these and almost pooted. They are so fresh. On November 20, 2009, they are dropping these and I almost feel like I need them, but hopefully my wallet is deep enough. They are the basic 1989 Pumps prototype with a little more flair and kinda look like they are super high for some nice ankle support (even though I won't be rockin them on the court, unless I'm courtside). Man, I cant wait for these...can you say Christmas is November?

I got this sent to me recently, and quite frankly it scared me a little bit. But it is 1:1,000,000 case of this girl that was becoming a Washington Redskins cheerleader that got a flu vaccination and now she can only walk backwards, its crazy. I wouldn't be alarmed though, if you need to get a flu shot, go get one, this is a 1 in 1,000,000 case that I found interesting. If you think this will happen to you, it wont, so don't worry...its called an "availability heuristic" its a psychology term that means that because this video/event is vivid in your mind, then it means that it actually happens all the time...even though it doesn't. So check it out, its very eye-opening, but plz plz plz plz plz WASH YOUR HANDS k? thx. My girlfriend's son has the baby flu right now, so lets not spread any more germs...and as she says, "cochino."

Family Guy has to be my favorite cartoon of all time, its been hilarious for 8 seasons plus the new spin-off with The Cleveland Show.
