Sorry I haven't been around in a while, been so busy with school and work...BUT, I did manage to pick up these new Air Griffey's. They are pretty ILL and I'm kinda waiting for the weather to clear up so that I can wear em out. They were $150 and they run about a half size small, so I usually wear a 10, so I got these in a 10.5

Picked up the VI's today...Last one in my size. Almost broke my heart when he gave me that look of "I don't think we have that size, but I'll check anyways." BUT luckily they had it for ya boy. So fresh, dropped $150 before taxes on them, so worth it, check em out.

Chillin @ the barbershop waiting for a cut between shifts and I was reading the paper...on the front page o the washington post it said something that caught my eye. And as of today, I trust America a little less than I did yesterday...so sad. Apparently, the Dec. 25 attempt to bomb the White House was not prevented because our govt is full of a bunch of FAILS. "The US government had the information...to potentially uncover this plot and disrupt the attack. Rather than a failure to collect or share intelligence, this was a failure to connect and understand the intelligence that we already had."

NBA Jam Comeback

EA Sports is bringing back NBA Jam. If you dont remember, it was the dopest 2 on 2 hoops game in the early 90's. I actually have it on my laptop and it's still as live as it was back then. With combos like John Stockton & Karl Malone, Gary Peyton & Shawn Kemp, and Patrick Ewing & John Starks, the game was just awesome. This time, the game will only drop for the Wii platform, but hopefully that will change. I cannot imagine how good this game will be with the players in the league today. Kobe & Gasol, Nash & Stoudamire, Pierce & Garnett, Nelson & Howard, Parker & Duncan, Lebron & Shaq...this game is gonna be reckless.

I was just messing around on Youtube and looking for something funny and rediscovered Gabriel Iglesias...He used to be on Nickelodeon among other things. And for starters, he is absolutely hilarious. Flu Game

My brother said he's getting me the Jordan XII "Flu Game" for Christmas. So stoked lol. Here are some pics and I'll update it when I actually have them. And for those who don't remember, MJ scored 38 pts on the Utah Jazz in Game 5 of the 1997 Finals with the flu. Only the greatest can do that.

Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree

Every year my family always goes and gets a tree from the local christmas tree vendor. We usually do it within the first week of December to get into the Christmas spirit. Along with watching certain movies, drinking egg nog, sending cards, and of course, sending and recieving gifts. This year we decided to do things a little different and cut down our tree. It was actually a great idea and a pretty fun experience. We went to Ticonderoga Farms in South Riding, VA, and we brought along the family's "step son," Simeon aka Sim Simma. He played the role of Moses with his measuring stick and we had a ton of laughs. My Mom, Aidan, My Dad, and I all took turns taking the saw to the bottom of the tree. Aidan went first and got about half way through, followed by my Mom who thought she did a lot, but actually only got about half of the saw into the tree. Next was me, I got to about the 3/4 mark and my Dad came in as the closer. Aidan picked up the 7 ft tree and lugged it back across the muddy and snow powdered terrain.

After we got home and got the tree set up, we proceeded to put on all of our ornaments. This years new ornaments were the Red Sox and Patriots logos, hand drawn on the bulbs. A great addition.

Christmas times always bring back great memories and an all around tranquil mood in the Johnson household. This year, I'm asking for some shoes and some bills to be paid from Santa, and HE BETTER COME THRU!
